Your day-wise itinerary
Overnight journeys and arrival days are shown separately from the core stay duration.
Day 0Delhi to Shimla – Overnight Drive
Meet at the designated pickup point and travel overnight from Delhi to Shimla.
Day 1Shimla to Chitkul / Sangla
Transfer to a local traveller vehicle, pass Kinnaur Gate and scenic Sutlej/Baspa valley viewpoints. Reach Chitkul/Sangla for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2Chitkul to Nako via Khab Sangam
Explore Chitkul and Mathi Devi Temple; enjoy the Baspa River views. Travel to Nako via Khab Sangam, the confluence of the Sutlej and Spiti rivers. Explore Nako village and monastery; Nako Lake may be frozen in winter.
Day 3Nako, Tabo and Dhankar to Kaza
Visit Tabo monastery and cave area. Continue towards Kaza via Dhankar Monastery and Lingti waterfall viewpoint (subject to road access). Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 4Hikkim, Komic and Langza Circuit
Visit Hikkim, Komic and Langza subject to passability of winter roads. See the mountain views and villages before returning to Kaza for the night.
Day 5Key Monastery, Kibber and Chicham Bridge
Explore Key Monastery, Kibber village and Chicham Bridge when accessible. Return to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6Kaza to Kalpa via Gue Monastery
Travel back towards Kinnaur and visit Gue Monastery en route if accessible. Reach Kalpa for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7Kalpa, Shimla and Delhi Return Journey
Enjoy Kalpa viewpoints and depart towards Shimla. Board the overnight vehicle for Delhi.
Day 8Delhi Arrival
Morning arrival in Delhi.
